Q1. How can I apply for a new Icard?

Ans. The first user has to login into the I card portal by using their USERNAME no. and password, once successful login is done, you have to click on the “Apply For New Card” option in the left panel, and you will get the application page where you have to upload your image and signature, then submit the form. You will get the application ID for future reference on the successful submission.

Q2. How can I update the information on my I card?

Ans. I card portal only allows you to update your photo and signature, for the other information you have to change your basic information through the PIS application. Once you update your information on the PIS application, your changes will start reflecting in the I card portal from where you can apply for a new one

Q3. How to write names in Hindi?

Ans. To enter your name in Hindi, there are two ways
i) Type your name in Hindi in Kruti dev font. For this, you should know Kruti dev 011 typing.
ii) You can use online translators to convert your English name into Kruti dev 011 typing and then you
copy and paste your name into the field given in the form.

Q4. What are the allowable image extensions?

Ans. You can upload images having extensions .jpg or .jpeg.

Q5. What is the maximum file size allowed to upload?

Ans. : it is 100 MB

Q6. How can I track my application request?

Ans. You have to go to the “Track My Application” section in the I card portal from the left navigation panel, then click on the application that you want to track. On click, it will show the status of the application.

Q7. Submit button not is not working on the I card application form, what to do?

Ans. There can be various reasons for this issue, you have to check the following points to verify 1. Check your internet connectivity. 2. Check the required information warning on the application form. 3. Check browser compatibility with the software.

Q8. How to apply for a new I card?

Ans. you have to log in as Initiator. Once logged in successfully you will get an initiator dashboard. From the left panel you have to select "Apply for I Card", then you will get the application form. In this form, you have to enter USERNAME. to get the person's basic information. For Hindi names, you have to use Google Translator and paste the name into the form, after that upload the profile image and signature of the person. Then click on the preview button to check the data entered and click on the apply button to submit the request.

Q9. How to track the application.

Ans.For this we have to login as an initiator and then navigate to the "Track Request" section from the left panel, then enter the USERNAME in the form on the right side and click on the search. This will show us the application details. In this way we can track the application.
